Sibling Love

One of my dreams for my kids is that they will have good, lasting relationships with each other. Of course they fight like all siblings do, but I want them to be each other's champions. Two nights ago ds wanted to play Life. I told him to ask his sister. At first she resisted, and I commented how lucky she was to have a brother who loves her the way he does. Spontaneously he stood up and gave her a humongous bear hug. They collapsed together on the sofa and cuddled a moment, then big sis said she would play the game. And she even made up a no money rule to make the game go quickly. I witnessed so much love between them it made my heart swell.

Last summer we went to Sweden and a personal goal of mine had been to help them reconnect with each other. Through the business of life they had grown apart. I am happy to report that through that month where they only had the three of them for companionship, they forged some deep and lasting bonds. I hope if you have a brother or sister, tell them you love them today!

New Friends & Cute Chicks

I had the privelege of meeting my friend Jenn of takeabowcreations this week! We collaborated on a design and met to take photos. We had so much fun. It was wonderful to meet in person and see our girls become friends as well! I had a hard time choosing photos to put in this post, so please bear with me! LOL Jenn's design as well as my jewels can all be found on ebay right now!

I also had the privilege of working with Susan of little*moonkey and you can see her design with my Chick Lampwork necklace. All of these designs can be found on ebay right now by searching "ivylane chick".

And because it's my blog, I have to put in two of my favorites of K from Sunday. :)

Koosh Balls & Sunflowers

Today K needed to model some adorable Sunflower appliqued capris. I also wanted to photograph her in this adorable Naartjie outfit. In order to appease her, I also had to photograph her beloved Koosh ball. I have a whole series devoted to the Koosh ball from yesterday, but I will spare you and only share one. :) This Koosh ball comes with us everywhere lately. She even sleeps with it. You can see her devotion in the pics. LOL

I apologize for some of the pictures; for some reason after I sized them for the blog they got a bit pixely. LOL

Here is a peek at the sunflower capris! They are so adorable and Tanya does amazing work. You can see them on ebay by searching "boutique sassy sunflower".

You can also find the matching necklace made by me on ebay.

Shabby Rose Tanks Now Available!

I'm so happy to say that the Shabby Rose tanks are now available on my website. I adore these tops. They are perfect for Spring and Summer special occasions and photos. I know you'll love them as much as I do. :)

They are also available in adult sizes. Wouldn't they be gorgeous with one of those swingy eyelet skirts?

I suppose that is the nice thing about having to be home with little sick ones. I have been really working on my website! LOL

Hope you all have a great Wednesday.
