I sat outside for a few moments after my bike ride this morning. This is the beautiful (pink!) sunrise I was met with.
Lamentations 3:21-25 21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: 22 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." 25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

Thank you Lord that you use broken people. I have nothing to offer, but you saved me anyway. I love Jennifer Knapp's music and this song has been on my playlist a lot lately. I wish I could have found her singing it to post, but these girls do a great cover of it.
Here are the lyrics: Martyrs & Thieves Lyrics Artist(Band):Jennifer Knapp
There's a place in the darkness that I used to cling to It presses harsh hope against time In the absence of martyrs there's a presence of thieves Who only want to rob you blind They steal away any sense of peace Though I'm a king I'm a king on my knees And I know they are wrong when they say I am strong As the darkness covers me
Chorus-
So turn on the light and reveal all the glory I am not afraid To bare all my weakness knowing in meekness I have a kingdom to gain Where there is peace and love in the light, in the light Oh I am not afraid To let Your light shine bright in my life, in my life Oh I... am, I...
There are ghosts from my past who've owned more of my soul Than I thought I had given away They linger in closets and under my bed And in pictures less proudly displayed A great fool in my life I have been Have squandered till pallid and thin Hung my head in shame and refused to take blame For the darkness I know I've let win
(Chorus)
Can you hear me? (repeat 6x)
Well I've never been much for the baring of soul In the presence of any man I'd rather keep to myself all safe and secure In the arms of a sinner I am Could it be that my worth should depend By the crimson stained grace on a hand And like a lamp on a hill Lord I pray in Your will To reveal all of You that I can
(Chorus)
There's a place in the darkness that I used to cling to It presses harsh hope against time...
We are waist high in new flooring this week. Dh has been working for 4 days straight leveling, preparing and finally laying our new floor. Here is the progress as of last evening. He had to go back to work today, but hopefully we can finish tonight or tomorrow. It will be gorgeous though!
I have had the honor of teaming up with 50 of ebay's most talented ladies for the Indelible launch. We will all be using (or in my case am inspired by) Joel Dewberry's fabric lines. I will share a sneak peek on Wednesday, so check back!
This sweet necklace is inspired by the look of vintage cameos. The photo pendant is a nice oval shape and is off-set by freshwater pearls. It's available on ebay at a low opening price, or for direct purchase on etsy. Please click the links to the right to visit those shops. :)
My collar bone is one of the places I can see the benefits of working out. I like the changes that are coming with hard work. Maybe this triathlon thing is do-able after all. :)

I have always loved running, and consider myself a pretty fit person. I have had a few baby lbs that have been hanging around (even AFTER running a 1/2 marathon a year ago) so when my friend, who also happens to be one amazing personal trainer, said she was going to do a triathlon next year I thought that sounds like fun! (Phew that was one heck of a run-on) Since I'm a bit of a weather weinie, I have not started the swimming portion yet (the indoor pool is closed for maintenance) but I have added cycling to my regime. Can I just say it's working? In 2 weeks of adding in cycling 2 days a week I have lost 6lbs. I think she was right on the money when she said my body was used to what I was doing and needed to change it up.
But then I start looking at triathlon websites. UHM can you see FREAKED? These people look hard-core! So I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into, but by golly I look good in my jeans.

I am so happy to report that we are finished with the floor in my studio! DH and DS worked all Saturday doing the prep work, then we worked all Sunday laying the floor. I am so happy with the result. It is beautiful, and will be so easy to clean. Now we only have to do 3 more rooms. LOL
I'm so excited! My studio re-model is nearly completed. We are putting in the new wood flooring this weekend! I'm hoping to be able to post photos on Monday~! *crossing fingers*
